General Information
I have four simple rules for the classroom.
When for some reason these rules are not followed, the consequences will be given in the following order:
1. Warning
2. Warning
3. Student/Teacher Conference (Refocusing Time)
4. Parent call/Email home
5. Office Referral
- Be Responsible
- Be Cooperative
- Be Helpful
- Be Safe

Refocusing time is when the student takes time to calm down or refocus their behavior.
They must also write down (or I will scribe for them) what behavior was inappropriate, why they did it and how they are going to change it before re-joining the group. |
Please note, that for students who consistently exhibit the same inappropriate behaviors over a period of days or events, the adult in the room may skip over the line of consequences and move directly to more severe consequences.
For severe behavior such as but not limited to fighting, swearing, continuous disrespect and other behaviors listed in the student handbook, the student will be referred to administration and/or removed from class. |
